The
History of the Reactor Label Compiled
by Chris Spencer The
Reactor label was one of the few labels in Australia to release material by punk
and hardcore rock bands during the 1980s. Its
creator, Phil Macdougall, kept meticulous accounts of his business and his
memoirs make a very accurate assessment of the label.
There's also an in depth article about Smeer, a member of one of the
label's stalwarts, Depression. Moonlight
is keen to document other Australian labels, so initiatives from other
researchers are welcome. A5 format, 40 pages, illustrated, $5. --------------- Mr
