Rockafella are a five piece rock and roll band with members hailing from the East Sydney and Northern Illawarra regions. The five members all met at the local Catholic high school through a mutual love of fast cars, fast women illicit substances and dirty, shit hot blues/rock and roll. With their roots based firmly in the blues/rock and roll movements of the 60's and 70's they create a sound that is reminiscent of yesteryear yet fresh and original. The five piece line up provides for a huge sound and a live show that has been compared to the likes of MC5 and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, these boys believe in upholding the tradition of providing a stage show performance that will rape your senses. After recently being voted as the best new talent by the Australian Rock and Roll Association the boys struck a deal with High Beam/MGM and released their crtically acclaimed debut EP in March 2003, now they are ready to take the crown as the new kings of Australian Rock and Roll.
